You are not alone

CPSA is a voluntary peer support group run by men, for men who have prostate cancer

In the UK, 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.

The risk increases with age; it is most common in men aged 75 to 79.

Men of African Caribbean descent have a much higher risk, with 1 in 4 developing the disease.

Men of Asian descent generally have a lower risk than average.

About Us

The Cornwall Prostate Support Association (CPSA) is a voluntary peer-support group dedicated to helping men who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer as well as their families and friends who also are very much affected and involved.

We understand that a cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming. Having the opportunity to talk with others who have walked the same path can provide comfort, practical advice and reassurance.

CPSA is organised and run entirely by volunteers who all have prostate cancer. We aim to ensure that no one seeking help need feel isolated during their own journey.
